If you no longer wish to practice or offer to practice professional engineering and/or land surveying in North Dakota, you may request to place your license in inactive status by completing the form below.
A license must be currently active or in retired status to be eligible for inactive status.
Please note: This is a one-time action, and the inactive status of the license cannot be renewed. However, an individual can return to an active status, anytime within four years, by completing our standard renewal process and meeting all requirements in effect at that time. After four years you will need to reapply to reinstate your license. For more information please see our renewal page.
While your license is inactive, you may not practice or offer to practice professional engineering and/or land surveying or represent yourself as a licensed professional engineer and/or land surveyor in the state of North Dakota.
