The State of North Dakota does not provide general or “blanket” letters of verification for examinations or licensure.
Individuals seeking licensure in another state or jurisdiction are responsible for obtaining the appropriate verification form directly from the requesting licensing board. Each jurisdiction establishes its own requirements and documentation standards.
Upon receipt of the official verification form, this office will complete and return the form in accordance with the requesting jurisdiction’s instructions.
Verification forms must be submitted to this office by one of the following methods:
To avoid processing delays, applicants should ensure that all required sections of the form are completed prior to submission.
As an alternative to submitting a paper verification form, applicants may request that their verifications be transmitted through the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
Use of an NCEES verification is subject to acceptance by the requesting state or jurisdiction. Applicants are responsible for confirming whether the receiving board will accept this method in lieu of a verification form.
North Dakota does not charge a fee for verifications provided through either methods.
