Commercial Renewal Options
All Certificate of Commercial Practice (CoCP) renewals were due by December 31, 2023.
All active CoCP licenses expire on December 31, 2024
If your companies CoCP has LAPSED for more than 1 year, reapplication is now required for reinstatement of your companies CoCP.
If your companies CoCP has been INACTIVE for less than 2 years or expired December 31, 2023, you may reinstate your companies CoCP by using one of the following options:

Welcome to our new renewal and account platform. Unlike prior years this renewal site is fully automated, and does NOT require any documents to be uploaded or submitted to our office. You will need to know the names and license numbers of your employees who are licensed in North Dakota as an Engineer and/or Land Surveyor. Interns will not be listed. Since this is a new system, you will need to create an account. After you have successfully created your account, select the the renewal option and follow the on screen prompts. Upon successful completion and payment for your renewal, your company’s CoCP will be renewed automatically. For your records, you will have the option to print your company’s renewal documents, receipt, and updated wall certificate.
NOTE: Our office will NOT be mailing wall certificates to companies who complete their renewal online.
