Inactive Status Request for a Certificate of Commercial Practice (CoCP)

Please read prior to submitting this form!

If your company no longer wishes to practice or offer to practice engineering and/or land surveying services in North Dakota, you may request to place your company’s CoCP in an inactive status by completing the form below.

Your company’s CoCP must be currently active to be eligible for inactive status.

Please note: This is a one-time action, and the inactive status of the CoCP cannot be renewed. However, a companyl can return to an active status, anytime within two years, by completing our standard renewal process and meeting all requirements in effect at that time. After two years you will need to reapply to reinstate your company’s CoCP. For more information please see our renewal page.

While your CoCP is inactive, your company may not practice or offer to practice professional engineering and/or land surveying services in the state of North Dakota.
