Disciplinary FAQs

After you file a complaint, you will receive written confirmation from the Board that your complaint was received. The complaint is reviewed by the Boards Legal & Investigative Committee to determine if further investigation is required. The respondent is often sent a copy of the complaint and given 14 business days to respond to the allegation.

You have 30 days from the date of disciplinary action to report that to our office.

The L&I committee consists of one of our Board Members, our Executive Director, Legal Counsel and Compliance Officer. They will review all cases that are filed with our office and recommend what action the Board should take.

Anyone may file a complaint. Fill out a complaint form and either mail or email to our office. Include with your complaint as much factual evidence possible; including copies of plans, plats, pictures, maps, documents, contracts and names, and all contact information.
