The requirements for becoming licensed in North Dakota are contained in a collection of North Dakota’s statutes called the North Dakota Century Code (NDCC). Statutes can only be created by North Dakota’s Legislature. The different sections of the NDCC are separated by chapters and a numbering system. The chapter of the NDCC assigned to Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors is 43-19.1. The most recent version NDCC chapter 43-19.1 is available for download and is also located on the North Dakota government web site.
